Touch ups

Once again, we've been up to our paradise. It was Memorial and therefore an extended weekend. SO nice! The weather was great except one day when we had a storm and more rain. WE DO NOT NEED MORE RAIN!

As many of you probably have read, the St Lawrence River is flooded and lot of home owners are suffering big time. Yes, Lake of the Isle is also record high, but the only "damage" we have is the fire pit being under water. It will hopefully appear by the end of June. To be on the safe side and not missing out on the smores, we have ordered SoloStove fire pit! It is going to arrive in couple of weeks and I am so happy! You can't live without the smores, right?

During the Memorial weekend we changed the bed covers and our daughter suddenly wants an asian look in her room. What happened with the Swedish look? I am not aware of any dragons from Sweden. I have to figure this out.

We also added some clothing racks in two of the bedrooms. I always want to throw/hang up "stuff".

Between cleaning, Jonas went out fishing and was of course caught in a storm! But he managed to take a really great picture between the showers.

Yes, our daughter jumped into the water as soon as we arrived to the "camp"

Hanging out on the deck

Even night views from deck is great

It can't get more relaxing than this...

...until the storm comes

But ah, storms come and go and back to it!

New bead spread, more in my taste
